I'm Flloyd, and I make jewelry.
I make the kind of jewelry I like to wear.
It's light, colourful, bright and fun. It makes me feel light and colourful even on the days when I don't feel so bright. And of course, I enjoy hearing my friends and colleagues complimenting me on my jewelry, which is now worn from New York to Paris and back to Brisbane.
I've just been to the Brisbane Bead and Gem Show, buying up some gorgeous stock, and new pieces will be appearing here on a weekly basis from now on.
No two items are ever quite the same, because I seem to be incapable of repeating myself, even if I wanted to. It's the same with my cooking, I never make quite the same dish twice, and I always experiment on guests. That's because the first time I make something is always the best. Beginner's luck? Or butterfly mind?
